Inspiring Learning

We work with a team of highly qualified staff. All our tutors are natural communicators who have been recruited as a result of their passion and knowledge for their subject. Many tutors are qualified teachers with years of classroom experience. Others are enthusiastic subject specialists with a background in training or education.

All tutors have Disclosure Scotland/PVG certificates and have been subject to a rigorous

recruitment process.

If you have been personally recommended a particular tutor, please tell us and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

All tutors receive extensive training and on-going monitoring and support from Tutors’ Alliance. Tutors’ Alliance tutors have a talent and a passion which they wish to share with their pupils. We pride ourselves on the quality of the tuition we provide and our aim is to inspire our pupils.

The team of tutors is managed by Valerie Kemp LLB (Hons.), a tutor with over four years of experience teaching languages. Valerie established Tutors' Alliance in 2009 and has an extensive knowledge of the skills required in a good tutor. Combining her background in law and her passion for tutoring, Valerie has built Tutors' Alliance into Aberdeen's premier tutoring agency.
