The booking deadline for the Easter Revision Classes is today, Tuesday 1st March. We anticipate that some classes may still have limited places available. Tutors' Alliance Congratulates Pupils on Prelim Success
We are very pleased to announce that many of our pupils have successfully achieved excellent marks in the recent round of prelim examinations. For those pupils, the focus now is on maintaining then enhancing their results.
For those pupils who did not get marks that quite met their expectations, Tutors' Alliance tutors are working to put in place a programme of tuition assistance so that grades can be improved in time for the May examinations. It is important to plan ahead now as the exams are only a matter of weeks away.
We wish all pupils every success in the start of their revision for the May examinations. Remember, our tutors are here to help and not only can we provide one-to-one tuition; we also have intensive revision session during the April holidays through our Easter Revision Sessions.

Tutors' Alliance has a new Director
Tutors' Alliance Ltd. is delighted to announce that Catriona McLeod, MA (Hons.), PGCE has joined the board of Tutors' Alliance Ltd. with immediate effect.
Catriona is an experienced and qualified secondary school English tutor and owner of Creative Tutoring, an Aberdeenshire-based English tuition business. Her expertise both as a tutor and a business owner will be of great benefit to Tutors' Alliance.
Catriona is currently working with Valerie Kemp to help grow Tutors' Alliance in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Catriona and Valerie are co-directors with Valerie being the primary contract for clients and tutors for the time being.

Half-Term Update
As all pupils currently enjoy their Half-Term break, the Tutors' Alliance team has been very busy preparing those pupils sitting prelim examinations for their exams. It is a stressful time, particularly as this may be the first time pupils have sat a full paper at the appropriate level. When results come out, we are expecting to have many queries. Our tutors' diaries are already filling up so parents are advised to act early in order to secure a Tutors' Alliance tutor.
Pupils may also wish to look at our resources, available using the tab above. We are adding to these on a regular basis and should you have any suggestions for what you would like to see on these pages, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Finally, the Easter Revision Classes are proving popular. There are still two weeks of booking time left but places are on a first come, first served basis. This is a great opportunity for pupils to brush up on their skills and make the most of the next holiday period. As far as we are aware, Tutors' Alliance is the sole provider of SQA Exam Revision Classes or Courses in Aberdeen during the April break in 2011.

Tutors' Alliance Opens City Centre Office
Tutors' Alliance is delighted to announce the opening of a city centre office today. The new office means that Tutors' Alliance is the only one-to-one tuition agency in Aberdeen able to offer tuition both in pupils homes and at a convenient city centre office. The new office is located at Skene Business Centre, Skene House Rosemount, 96 Rosemount Viaduct. Tutors' Alliance launches Independent Schools' Entry Examination Tuition
Tutors' Alliance is delighted to launch Independent Schools' Entry Examination tuition, a first for North-East Scotland. With private schools' entry assessments being an important factor in the decision process, the tuition sessions will give pupils a confidence boost. The tuition aims to equip pupils with the key skills they require in order to perform to the best of their abilities.
