Consultation

The first stage is to contact Valerie Kemp and she will discuss your requirements with you. Valerie will then arrange for a no-obligation educational consultation to take place in your home, free of charge. Tutors’ Alliance may ask parents for a contribution to travelling expenses if the family home is located outside Aberdeen City. The consultation gives Tutors’ Alliance the opportunity to thoroughly understand the pupil’s needs and engage a suitable tutor for the assignment. It also allows pupils and parents to ask questions about Tutors’ Alliance and the services we provide.

Agreement

Once both Tutors’ Alliance and the pupil and parents are happy to proceed, Tutors’ Alliance will send an agreement to be signed and parents will be asked to pay for a block of tuition. Tutors’ Alliance will assign a suitable tutor and the first lesson will take place. Tutors’ Alliance offers a unique money-back guarantee. We are so confident that you will be happy with the tuition Tutors’ Alliance provides that if, for any reason, you do not wish to proceed with tuition, you will be able to cancel within 7 days of the first lesson and the full sum paid will be refunded.

Lessons

Lessons will be scheduled at times mutually convenient to the pupil and tutor. Progress reports will be sent to parents on a monthly basis, or more frequently if requested. We monitor all pupils’ progress rigorously and we believe it is essential to keep parents informed. Parents will be sent an e-mail or letter to advise them when a block of lessons is coming to an end.
