Why choose Tutors' Alliance?
Here at Tutors' Alliance we are open and honest about who we are. We have a rigorous tutor selection process to ensure that only the best tutors are engaged. Unlike other agencies, all tutors have Enhanced Disclosure Scotland certificates before they start assignments with pupils under 18. Tutors' Alliance is a registered body with Disclosure Scotland. Our tutors are subject to a strict vetting process and receive training before commencing employment. We have a monitoring process so all tutors have to submit lesson plans to Valerie Kemp before each session and progress reports are sent to parents every month. We take our obligation to support pupils' education very seriously and the needs of our pupils are of paramount importance.
By choosing Tutors' Alliance, we can guarantee that our tutors are paying the appropriate amount of tax and national insurance. Other agencies may not operate a payroll system and so the tutors are working on the black market. This is also applicable to tutors who are not declared as self-employed.
Finally, we do not charge an arrangement or administration fee. You simply pay for the lessons.
Tutors’ Alliance is committed to helping pupils achieve their academic goals. We have a thriving community of pupils and tutors all working towards ensuring pupils feel confident in their own academic abilities. The flexibility we are able to offer fits perfectly with the personalised approach we take to tuition. We support our tutors to ensure that they deliver tuition of the highest quality.
What results can Tutors’ Alliance tutors achieve?
Tutors’ Alliance tutors have gained excellent results for their pupils. Tutors’ Alliance does not publish specific results in order to respect the privacy of our pupils. However, we have published some testimonials we have received, as well as some case studies. As a general rule, the earlier a tutor is engaged by a family, the greater the chance of surpassing expectations of the pupil’s examination performance.
